We had a truly wonderful stay and would love to come back. The house is cozy, with very comfortable beds, and a huge garden. The views are amazing — the sea on one side and Mount Etna on the other. It’s very quiet, with only the soft sound of goat bells in the morning. The hosts were kind and welcoming, and we especially enjoyed the homemade wine from their own grapes. Our 5-year-old loved the two friendly cats, which made the stay even more special. The house is very well equipped — everything we needed was there. The garden and house were fully at our disposal. The owner came during the day to care for the garden, which was completely fine and didn’t disturb us.

The only minor note: the children’s playhouse and slide shown in the photos were not present during our stay. It didn’t affect our experience at all — the large garden and the two friendly cats were more than enough to keep our child happy. Also, the access road to the house is a country road between dry stone walls. It is reasonably wide, but we had rented a relatively large car (Nissan Qashqai) and felt a bit uncomfortable driving there at first. That said, choosing a large car is probably not ideal for Sicily in general.

Das Ferienhaus liegt wunderbar zwischen Bergen und Meer. Es ist etwas abgelegen (Mietauto unbedingt erforderlich), aber dafür sehr ruhig und privat. Als 4köpfige Familie hatten wir ausreichend Platz. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern verlief sehr freundlich und reibungslos. Maria war stets für uns erreichbar und hat uns mit wertvollen Tipps den Urlaub verschönert. Die Natur und der Blick auf den Ätna haben uns besonders gefallen.
