The home was cozy with great views, but issues with cleanliness and setup detracted from the stay.

We rented for a small family Thanksgiving get-a-way. The home was very inviting upon arrival. The areas are a little smaller than depicted in the photos but I had read that in other reviews, so I was prepared. The main entrance opens to the kitchen/dining and main living room. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed to prepare, cook and serve a full Thanksgiving meal. Bedrooms and bathrooms were stocked nicely. The view is amazing from the back patio.

The first night we were there, we could not figure out how to turn on the patio lights. The first morning, we figured out that all of the plugs on the main kitchen wall were not working. The breaker box is behind a locked door so I sent a message to the property manager letting them know. They were responsive and had someone out about 3 hours after I reached out. Once that was addressed, the kitchen was back up and running and patio lights came on. The TV in the main living room is hung on the wall above the fireplace. The position of the TV and small size of the living area made it uncomfortable. I decided to push the couch all the way back to the wall. It was better, but not my preferred set up. When I moved the couch, I had to pull out the vacuum because it was obvious that under the couch hadn't been cleaned in a few visits. In one of the downstairs bedrooms there were kid socks behind the curtains and a water bottle in the cubby under the stairs.

Great place for a group get together

The cabin is exactly as pictured. The hot tub was nice. Loved all the outdoor games and activities. Beds were comfortable and clean. The owners were quick to respond to any issues. Check in and check out were super easy and well explained.

The fire pitt is on a steep hill and makes some of the chairs unusable. The top floor bathroom doesn't have a curtain or blinds and anyone on the road can look into the bathroom and see into the shower if the lights are on.
