Bravissimo Plaça Catalunya 1-2, Studio apartment

We had a wonderful stay at Bravissimo Place Catalunya. While the apartment was a bit smaller than we had expected, the location could not be beat. It was amazing. Other pros included: Washing machine - always happy to have this. Kitchen facilities- this was well equipped. There was no microwave but there was a full stove/oven and toaster. Very nice to have. The shower head is very tall. My tall husband appreciated this very much. The photos are exactly as described. Try the chocolate shop downstairs. It’s delicious. Oh and did I mention the location. A++++

We did not find many cons other than the bathroom is small and there is no counter in there, but they did install a small shelf which was helpful to place supplies on. A few things I would note though that could be a concern for some people are that the apartment is up one level (US-2nd floor, EU-first floor) and there is no elevator. If you have mobility issues this could be a concern. We do not, so it was fine for us. And there is no dresser (chest of drawers) so if you’re staying for an extended stay there isn’t really anywhere to put your clothing. There is a large closet though that has a few shelves. I don’t want to focus on the negative though because these were minor things. The apartment was perfect for our stay.

Empfang durch Mitarbeiter gut und freundlich. Ausstattung gut, Handtücher und Bettwäsche sauber. Lage zur Innenstadt und zu Bus und Bahn super.

Kühlschrankkompressor brummt oft und realtiv laut, bei Berührung fällt Sockelleiste der Küche ab. Keine Handtuchhaken (für Duschtücher) vorhanden, einziger Haken (=Handtuch-Ring beim Waschbecken) wackelt dramatisch, Ablage aus Holz über dem Waschbecken empfanden wir als unhygienisch, schlecht gereinigt obendrein (Haare). Duschtür und seitliche Abtrennung nicht wasserdicht verbaut. Vorhandener Föhn verschmutzt, Klimaanlage müffelt bei Betrieb. Fernseh- und Radiokanäle wirr einprogrammiert.
