Alexana - Traditional House

It’s an amazing traditional house with so many beautiful elements and items kept around the walls that you might feel like in a museum (in a good way). The terrace was very nice to drink the morning coffee from and in the evening you could see part of the sunset. You have everything in the kitchen in order to make some food if you need with some staples as sugar, salt, even some olive oil already there. The drive to the beach was around 25min but the mountain serpentines were not tiring with the automatic car so we were often making 2 trips a day, and the views are beautiful. The village also has a taverna so you can eat very well there without needing to drive somewhere for food. It was very helpful that there were two bathrooms: one on each floor. In the main bathroom you had all the basic toiletries: including shampoo and shower gel, and not in those little bottles that are inconvenient to use, but the regular sizes, which was a nice thing from the landlady to do (I have not seen this being offered in any other property where I have stayed).

There was a dog in the neighboring property that was barking at night and disturbing the sleep but once this was raised the issue was addressed so we were very thankful to the lady managing the issues of the house.
