De ligging is het sterkste punt: het strand ligt op slechts één à twee minuten lopen en in de omgeving zijn volop restaurants en eetgelegenheden. Het appartement biedt redelijk wat praktische ruimte, beschikt over een kitchenette en het matras was redelijk comfortabel. Inchecken verliep bovendien zonder onnodige formaliteiten.
De naam “Luxury Suitemar” schept luxere verwachtingen dan het appartement in werkelijkheid waarmaakt. De accommodatie is eerder gemiddeld dan luxe. Vooral de badkamer en kitchenette vielen tegen: het keukengerei voelde zo plakkerig en onvoldoende schoon aan dat we het liever niet hebben gebruikt; douchekop spuit verkeerde kanten op en veel schimmel. Ook worden er voor strandbezoek geen parasols of vergelijkbare voorzieningen aangeboden. De directe omgeving is zeer levendig, met fastfoodzaken en een drukke buitenmarkt; vooral ’s avonds kan het daardoor behoorlijk rumoerig en chaotisch zijn.
