Location was great. Short walk to Victoria Cross Station and then 5 mins to city centre. Ruji cafe across the road on Napier Street is worth a visit for the friendly service alone. Place was clean but a bit tired looking which is probably down to the age of the place. Spacious, enough room for two adults and two teenagers. Couple of maintenance issues when we arrived but they were fixed within a few hours of reporting. Well appointed gym. A lap pool which was anything but luxurious but at least it was there. The kids used it a couple of times.
A check of any maintenance issues by cleaning contractors before guests check-in could be a good idea.
