Good central location, large comfortable bath

Not properly cleaned, lots of dust, some dirt and grime in the bathroom and a splotch of possibly blood on the bath

The host was the absolute best — genuinely went above and beyond. He arranged our taxis, made sure we had water, and was reachable on WhatsApp 24/7 for anything we needed. Super responsive, friendly and welcoming from start to finish. He made our short stay in Tirana completely effortless and stress-free.

Honestly nothing — everything was great. If we had to nitpick: one night just wasn't enough!

This is not a hotel!! And not a 5-star rating in any way (the owner claims that Booking.com gave him a 5-star score...) This is an apartment building. The building is very poorly maintained, and the elevators are small and scary. The room is old and needs to be refinished, and the bath was not clean when we arrived. It has a strong musty smell. We had 2 rooms, neither of which was in good condition; the air conditioning stopped working in the middle of the night, and there was not enough hot water.
