Good location on the south eastern sector of the island. Cute little town with a Pingo Doce less than 9 minutes away (grocery store).
You have to meet up with someone to get the keys, so coordinating that kind of thing isn't my favorite when I just want to be able to check in whenever we want. It smelled really strongly of smoke being covered up by cleaning products. We would open the windows immediately upon returning to the apartment but couldn't leave them open all night or when we were gone because the windows are on the street level. All our clothes smelled like smoke when we left. There also seemed to be some kind of issue with the shower area, the bath mat would get soaked every night we were there and the flooring near the shower was squishy like there was water underneath.
