Fahana Las Canteras

Nos encantó la ubicación y el trato de la anfitriona. Fuimos por el cumpleaños de mi madre e incluso nos dejaron una tarta en la nevera, fue todo un detallazo. Al tener garaje pudimos guardar el coche de alquiler que nos permitió visitar la isla durante nuestra estancia y fue algo indispensable y súper cómodo, con el centro comercial justo al lado para poder ir al supermercado y la zona del auditorio que es muy bonita también.

En algunos comentarios ya había visto que al estar muy cerca de la costa el salitre había desgastado y oxidado alguna parte de las instalaciones. Lo que sobretodo fue un poco incómodo y que necesitaría algún mantenimiento constante es la cerradura de la puerta porque costaba mucho abrirla con la llave al estar oxidada, y los marcos de las ventanas de la cocina que también se encontraban rotas. Aparte de eso y de alguna incomodidad por los colchones es genial para grupos grandes, y muy cómoda por tener 3 baños.

We loved the location and communal spaces. We were three couples and had lots of personal space.

On entering the property there is a real wow factor. However, one soon realises that there are a number of things that are old and need replacing ie: umbrella on the terrace and blind in main bedroom. We had a number of issues with this property. The two bedrooms on 1st floor are really small with no space around the beds. As there is a central glass ventilating courtyard every bedroom and bathroom light shines out to other bedrooms. We were without the dishwasher for the week. I realise this was due to island living and difficulty with spare parts but would not have booked a house without a dishwasher. Our biggest problem was the front door lock. It is totally corroded from sea water and is impossible to turn the key sometimes. All six of us adults found this very distressing. There was a problem with hot water during our entire stay. The showers were lukewarm in the two lower bedrooms. We boiled a kettle for washing up as the kitchen water never heated properly.

There was a welcome basket. The host was very responsive answering my questions leading up to the trip. The house was clean, comfortable, and in an amazing location. The mall was nearby & the beach was just down the street.

There was literally nothing we didn't like about this place.

Un detalle tener café, bombones, azúcar e infusiones, ademas de agua y un obsequio de vino. Nos encantó lo espacioso de todas las estancias, la terraza en el ático y todos los detalles pensados para que no te faltase de nada. Además de la amabilidad del anfitrión disponible en todo momento. Y nos dejaron salir un poco mas tarde el último día porque teníamos el avión por la tarde.

No hubo nada que no me gustase.
