Couple of hits not functioning in room (shower wouldn’t stay put) but nothing that couldn’t be worked round

The room was clean.
The common area is messy, not a good impression.

I think we use Booking for a reason, because we trust the app and make all my previous bookings easy. I was surprised when was requested by the host to use a third website/app to put my private details including Credit Card details, in a website that I have no idea how safe and secure it is, and is very confused for someone that is not very tech savvy, they said if we don't do the request we couldn't have access to the accommodation that we already paid in Booking.com, they need to put in they add that the clients will need to do all that before can use the rented space.

The parking, but very expensive (€ 20 per day)
Halls and room smelled bad.
Matrass rock hard.
Coffee machine in the lobby broken.

This is rather a hostel than a hotel. Rooms do not look like on the photos, walls are very thin, shower was partly broken.

Big bright and clean
It was situated in a place where baggers go and there was rubbish all over the streets and not a very nice smell, I did not have a nice feeling, also I thought I could order breakfast, which was not the case.

The bathroom
The heater in my room was not working , so l had to sleep in the cold bed. I woke up with running nose and very cold.

The room was up to hotel standards with enough space.
It was fully digital. This made my travel more complicated than it needed to be. The description of the property did not indicate that it would be fully digital and require an internet connection to access the property and the rooms.

Location was quite close to city centre and all amenities. Close to metro station
We reported that the lights were not working in the bedroom on the first night. An electrician only arrived as we checked out after the second night! When I reported the fault by email since there’s no staff or reception at this hotel, I was told to go and find the fuse box and see if it had tripped! This was at midnight in a dark hotel!

the room was nice, portable AC unit, Tv that i could connect to youtube for toddler, the people staying were very friendly, wifi was great.
the lift wasnt working (said it would be fixed the next day and it wasnt for the 3 nights i stayed) i was orignially allocated the 4th floor, travelling with a child with a pushchair this was a major issue and then was difficult as check in was remote, after a few persistent phone calls i finally got moved to floor 1 however this still wasnt ideal going up and down solo with a toddler and pushchair everyday.
the rooms didnt have facilities inside like a kettle or fridge, they did have a coffee dispenser in the reception but again this meant leaving the toddler alone in the room, with a balcony door that could open easily. VERY UNSAFE!!!
The neighbourhood felt very unsafe and really influenced my trip, i felt anxious at all times when leaving the hotel to walk to the train station (10mins walk) or go to lidl (10 mins walk) the streets were very dirty and run down with household items in the street and groups would form on the pavements making it very intimidating for a solo female especially with child.

Location is Ok as it is close to the most interesting landmark
Communication with the host was horrible; details about parking were not clear, check-in experience was terrible.

Room was spacious and tidy . Half miles away from the downtown .Affordable price . Many Islamic restaurants around .
Contactless code and sliding entry access seems to be smart but turns to be dumb while actually getting to it .

We had a big room, with a big bathroom. It was good that the room keycard is on your phone that way you don't have to remember to take it or be worried about losing it, however if you don't have data I am not sure how you would get into to the hotel or your room?
We were assigned a different room than what was shown on the booking, we were given a room with 3 single beds rather than large double.
The wifi wasn't very good as it was on and off very often, the TV was also restricted from being connected to the wifi which meant we couldn't screenshare from our phones to the TV.
The rooms could benefit with a do not disturb sign as the cleaner unlocked our door in the morning and tried to come in before I jumped out of bed and said we are in here. The room is also listed as soundproof, and it definitely wasn't when someone started blasting music at 11pm.
The hotel is located in a dirty area with lots of rubbish on the floor.

Location. Plenty of food choices
The room was extremely basic: no cupboard, no tea/coffee facilities, no bathroom lock, and no air conditioning or decent fan. It operates entirely digitally, but the WiFi was non-existent and mobile data didn’t work well inside—making room and hotel access extremely frustrating.
There is no customer service to speak of. No reception desk, no staff on site, and no one available when help is needed.
The worst part was the heat. Our triple room had just one small fan (see photo), which didn’t cool the room at all. We had several sleepless nights and were told there were no extra fans or pillows available. The pillows provided were very thin and uncomfortable.
Overall, it felt like the hotel simply doesn’t care about its guests. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here unless serious improvements are made. The location alone can’t make up for the lack of comfort and service.

The staff were fantaastic. From the gent at the reception to the lady who owns it, they were all attentive and very helpful even though language was bit of a barrier.
Probably air conditioning in the single room wuld help during hot days.

Close to the Midi station. A very kind gentleman at the reception, and next door there’s a Turkish pastry shop with delicious treats. In 15 minutes, you can reach the main square. Coffee in the morning as a bonus :)
It’s not a wealthy neighborhood, and you can see it, for example, from the garbage bags lining the street.

Lovely staff and free coffee
No cooling, no fridge, no microwave or kettle which I think a 3 star hotel should have..

The staff were lovely and helpful. My room was large and spartan — but had everything I needed.
I found the soap and shampoo dispenser in the shower worked poorly.

I didn't like the location, because it was too dangerous. Actually, twice, we saw people fighting around.
Besides that, the neighborhood is dirty and noisy.
The room was OK, but the bathroom didn't smell well.

Out side the hotel is full of waste and there might be an attack of pick picketer

Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms. Good place to stay for a few day.
Not the best neighborhood, but close enough to the Midi/Zuid station and various metro and bus stations.

clean room, good location, polite staff
it was cold in the room and the radiator was turned off by the hotel staff during my absence
I was a bit confused when a gentleman asked me for my only room card when I was leaving the hotel, it turned out it was for cleaning.

I booked only about 20 minutes before checking in, at about 11pm, after disruption on German railways caused me to miss the last Eurostar from Bruxelles-Midi. The couple staffing reception were very helpful. My room was absolutely fine, old fashioned but clean and comfortable. The streets immediately round the hotel were peaceful, but I was glad I had decided to take a taxi from Bruxelles-Midi - the area round the station is very crowded and noisy, and as an elderly woman on her own with a large suitcase I was obviously vulnerable. I checked out early; the lady who had been so concerned the previous night accompanied me into the street to make sure I knew how to get back to the station, so kind! The walk to the station
was about ten minutes through quiet streets.
The price! I was travelling on a tight budget and hadn’t planned to spend a night in the centre of a capital city. However, I guess the price was average for the area.

Room was uncomfortably hot and very noisy with the windows open due to being on a busy road. Air conditioning not available.

The reception staff were really friendly and let us check in early which was really helpful. A great budget hotel - very clean, good soundproofing from the street and everything working well. Would recommend for anyone looking for a reliable budget hotel.
A little bit of noise from the corridor in the night

Staff were friendly. Close to train station.
Very scruffy outside, lots of rubbish everywhere. TV in room didn't work, pillows were rubbish, no plug in bath.

Really nice staff if you speak French, willing to help.
The room was surprisingly clean and comfortable, as well as ample room.
The hotel is close to the central station. They also offer parking for a fee.
As mentioned before, the location of the hotel is not in the nicest neighborhood of Brussels.

The description in the website said it has electric kettle in the room, but indeed no. The staff can only provide you hot water upon request. And the WiFi is not working in the evening. The worst is someone enter my room in early morning with his/her key card. (Maybe it is cleaner but I make me feel very unsecured)
