קל מאד להגיע, ממש בכניסה למושבת כנרת ההיסטורית, לחצר כנרת ולחוף שלדג. המארח היה מאד נחמד, כיוון אותנו למקום, עזר עם המזוודות ונתן הסבר מקיף על החדר, איפה כל דבר נמצא, לרבות מקלט קרוב ככל שנידרש. החדר יחסית מרווח, מטבחון, עם כל מה שנדרש. צמודה לחדר מרפסת ענקית (יותר גדולה מהחדר), ממנה נשקף נוף משגע לכנרת ורמת הגולן. החדר היה נקי מאד, במצב שמישות גבוהה. חלונות ענקיים שמכניסים הרבה אור.
בגלל החלונות הענקיים לכיוון כנרת, הזריחה העירה אותנו מוקדם. מומלץ לסגור את התריסים לפני השינה, ואז זה לא יהווה בעיה כלל.
