Fashionable by the canals

The location is excellent. Ivan and his cute dog Nina were available to help us whenever we needed them. We rate the host and Ivan five stars. We give the apartment four as it needs a little care. It is in a very old building so we enjoyed the quirks and went with it!

Fantastic apartment in a great area!

This property wasn’t quite what we expected, but it was ok for the most part. Looking for an adventurous Italian experience, with some things leaving a bit to be desired, you’ll probably love this place! Looking for a place that’s well equipped and user friendly, you will probably be disappointed. Really cool location, being accessed through the courtyard, with tons of shops along the canal in easy walking distance. There are three flights of stairs to navigate by before you enter the unit. Kitchen & living room are on the second floor, so another flight of stairs. Bathroom & bedroom are on the entrance level. Listing says there’s a laundry washer & two bathrooms. There’s no washer, and only one bathroom. It does have AC, but on the top floor, kitchen &living room, it’s not adequate to cool it in hot weather although It helps a lot, & makes it bearable. No coffee maker, only 2 old aluminum stove top espresso makers. No napkins or paper towels were provided. No wash cloths provided, maybe that’s just standard in Italy, I don’t know?? Elisa tends to not reply very soon to messages, and wasn’t very helpful with questions about parking for my rental car. However, Ivan, the host there, is awesome! Responds quickly, & is extremely helpful. He found parking close by, in advance, which was huge for me as I was unfamiliar with the parking situation there, & not knowing the Italian language I felt handicapped! And he was very attentive to every need & questions we had while there.
