About this apartment rental

Spacious apartment with balcony in the heart of the beautiful city of Naples.

The house is located on the third floor of a historic building with elevator; the decor is in classical style and boasts numerous antiques.

The entrance opens onto a long hallway leading to the various rooms; through the first door you can access the double living room with balcony, furnished with a dining table, armchairs and two sofas, one of which converts into a double bed.

This is followed by the independent kitchen, equipped with an oven, a washing machine, a kettle and a microwave, as well as an additional dining table. The sleeping area, on the other hand, consists of two bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and the other with two single beds. Two bathrooms, one of which has a shower complete the layout.

*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.

"When you go to Naples you cry twice: when you arrive and when you leave," they say. Naples is a unique city, to be experienced walking through the alleys, smelling the scent of gastronomic delicacies in the air and admiring its rich artistic and monumental heritage.

Naples has a distinctive culinary tradition for its famous Neapolitan pizza, and the art of its pizza makers has been declared an intangible heritage of humanity by UNESCO.

Strolling through Spaccanapoli, the street that cuts the city in half, one traverses its thousand-year history thanks to the presence of ancient palaces and churches, such as the Duomo di Napoli and the Maschio Angioino. If there is one place that symbolises Naples, it is Piazza del Plebiscito, now a symbol of the new 'Neapolitan Renaissance' where tourists come to admire its grandeur and two jewels: the neoclassical colonnade of the church of San Francesco di Paola and the Royal Palace. Today it is also possible to visit 'the underground city', or the so-called 'belly of Naples', which served the Neapolitans as a refuge during the bombing raids, where tourists can walk through the Greco-Roman aqueduct, the air-raid shelters and finally visit the War Museum.

Particularly not to be missed is the San Severo Chapel, which houses the sculpture of the Veiled Christ, one of the most fascinating and mysterious works to be seen in Naples, the work of Giuseppe Sanmartino.

Naples Central Station is 1.2 km from the flat, while Naples Airport can be easily reached in less than 30 minutes by car.

We only stayed two nights here, and we didn't do much around that neighborhood, so I won't have much to say about the surrounding area. The organization was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We liked this apartment, with high ceilings and three balconies. Not a great place to cook, if you're planning to do that. The bedding seemed a bit thrown together, and we had to put together the couch bed ourselves with bedding we had to search for and put together, where other places did it for us. ONE THING TO NOTE: If you're offered multiple keys, take them. The same set of keys that open the front door are used to keep the power on. So when you leave, the power to the apartment shuts off -meaning you can't leave items to charge during the day. You also can't have one person stay and another leave, because, again, the person that stays won't have power. I've never seen this before in an apartment and it made staying/leaving difficult as we all had to do it at the same time. Other than that, it was generally an okay place to stay.

The most beautiful and spacious apartment, filled with history both inside and out. We absolutely loved our stay here; it was a highlight of our time spent in energetic and enthralling Naples! The antique, well functioning elevator to the apartment on the third floor was appreciated after full days of walking. The apartment itself had lots of space for our family of five. The pullout bed in the living room was helpful, the kitchen was well equipped with cookware and utensils, and the large windows had shutters that helped close off some of the nighttime traffic sound. The gorgeous balconies were a special delight! The two bathrooms worked well, the one is quite tiny but functional, and the other with the shower was a great size. We greatly appreciated the wonderful personal treatment as well. Our flight arrived later than expected due to delays, but Micheal was gracious to await our arrival to personally greet us and show us in. He did a great job explaining all we would need to know. The next day when we encountered a difficult challenge we received prompt and kind replies from the agency. Our only suggestions would be to offer a few softer pillows, and to take a look at the shower drain that at times was slow to drain. Small issues that we were able to overlook. Over all, it was a great honor and delight to stay in this beautifully appointed apartment filled with a century of history, steps from the historic center and the Duomo metro in the heart of vibrant Naples!

Large apartment in a noisy, but convenient location with 1940s vibes of old Naples. We enjoyed our stay, but ran into a few issues such as lack of glassware, no toilet paper, no dish sponges and a few other minor annoyances. Property management was responsive.
