Il Cuore di Napoli

Great location in the old town but off the main drag so mostly not too noisy (except for the crazy Friday and Saturday night before 2nd June bank holiday....). Big rooms, high ceilings, great aircon and one of the better rental kitchen facilities we have had in Italy. Lots of hot water, a bath as well as a shower and plenty of beds. Comfortable for a family of 4 or 2 couples if you don't mind sharing a bathroom. It is on the 3rd floor with lots of stairs! Manuela (the host) communicated well with us and happy to be contacted by WhatsApp with any issues. Good WiFi too.

The beds were a bit hard for us, and short for my tall husband - we often find the Italian beds hard! We did miss having a proper sofa - there is 1 arm chair and a small sofa bed in the kitchen area which is the only seating area, perhaps it would might have worked better to have a living area with sofas in the office/landing/extra single bed area? The dining table comfortably sat 4 and there were a couple of extra chairs to squeeze in 6 if needed, but not 6 sets of cutlery and glassware. The noise on Friday and Saturday was pretty wild!

- Manuela (the host) was super welcoming and helpful. - Apartment is spacious and bright. - The location is so good for its money: in couple minutes you can get both to the old city center/Spaccanapoli and Via Toledo full of shops and cafes. - Metro Università in 5-10 minutes of walk.

- There was a little challenge to find the entrance, because Google Maps does not show the correct location of it. - Water pressure is not very strong and we had to wait for some time until hot water starts. - Toilet seat was missing because it was broken by previous guests. Manuela went at great lengths to install a new one as soon as possible. - On Friday/Saturday night it could be very loud because there are bars right on the street. That is a perk of location, we just did not expect it. Prepare your earplugs or go out and celebrate!

Bang in the centre. Host is phenomenal. Lovely water pressure.
