Calm Waters - waterfront condo on Sanibel Island

This house is very well appointed and stocked. The additional bikes were a fantastic addition. The complex is great for any age. The home was very welcoming, perfect for a beach stay. Excellent location.

It was as beautiful as it was in the pictures. The ceiling fans were so nice and the coolness (great ac) was appreciated. The kitchen is very well-stocked with everything needed for meal creation. The neighborhood was private, nice and quiet. Loved being able to park under roof to keep the car cooler. A leisurely drive got us to beaches, shopping, and restaurants. Wonderful stay and would definitely book again.

This condo was very clean and pretty. It's located near the Sanibel Causeway on the Bay side, which is exactly where we wanted to stay. However, the description was deceiving. The unit is very small. In our opinion, 5 people could not comfortably stay in this condo. Yes, there are enough beds for 5 people, but one of those beds is a pull-out sofa that impedes the main walkway/exit when it is pulled out. The kitchen is barely large enough for 1 person. The coffee maker and toaster definitely were not updated. The oven needs to be recalibrated. The fridge and freezer defrost themselves nearly every day, and leave the food warm and melted. There are lots of odd serving dishes, but not a complete set of measuring cups or spoons. The front door handle needs to be replaced. It has corroded to the point that it is nearly impossible to unlock. The mattress in the master bedroom needs to be replaced. We could feel the springs. The parking area under the condo has no lighting and can be dangerous when it's dark. Watch out for the parking curb! Please put a light above the dining table. Please provide basic local tv stations, for weather and emergencies. There is not a comfortable place to sit in the family room. The couch is awful! The bathroom is very small. We do not think the toilet placement would pass code in our state. It's too close to the wall and shower. We were there for 2 weeks and only received a partial roll of toilet paper.
