We loved Marsaskala as a place to stay at for a start and the apartment was great

Self catering. Shops near by. The air con was amazing, needed and much appreciated. Everything worked, TV/Netflix, washing machine, hairdryer, toaster, kettle etc Host responded immediatly to any queries. Parking was free but public so at times hard to get a space.
Only the difficulty finding a parking space and that's not the accommodation's fault.

It was spacious apartment
The apartment wasn’t clean, the tables were dirty, inside the closets were a lot of dust. We had problems along our stay like gone electricity or the water from the shower was getting to the corridor
