Location was quite good.
Beds were comfortable, and nice bathrooms.
The pool was also good, but a little dirty on arrival.
It was advertised as having a hot tub. It didn’t have one. We even checked before arrival, and were reassured it had a “jaccuzi bath”. There was not even a bath. Just showers. No refund or compensation was offered for this. At that price, I would expect the advert to be accurate, and for the people managing the rental to know what is in the property.
The approach to damage deposit is also uncomfortable. They ask for a significant holding deposit, and signing of an extensive “contract” prior to checking in. No mention of this at booking. So much so that it meant our stay wasn’t very relaxing. It was not an issue, as it was all refunded, but we spent a lot of time on our holiday worrying about it. And constantly tidying up through fear of being charged. It is a rental, so why is everything so immaculate and expensive?
