Au Bien-Etre à Deux

The property was very quaint and cute. It’s located on a flag lot near the top of town with a nice privacy fence to the other two houses on the property. The wood fired Hot Tub and Sauna were fantastic ways to unwind at the end of the day before curling up in bed.

Nothing, everything was marvelous. I’d recommend three things for the host: 1) looking at the reviews, the rain shower head hasn’t worked for a few people. It didn’t work correctly for us either and the shower speakers and steam was not plugged into electricity to use. So it’s a fancy looking, basic shower. 2) the advertised WiFi is at the hosts house, not this house. So you have to either stand at the privacy fence or in their driveway to get a signal. Additionally, the password is not listed in the house, we had to ask for it. 3) Additional fees were not clearly worked out with Booking.com. The host lists that local taxes of 1.51€/person/night are due, however they also asked us to pay an environmental tax that was previously collected by Booking.com. Additionally the firewood fee that is not priced online was 20€, no problem at all with it, we used firewood for both the sauna & hot tub. My recommendation is to clearly list ALL necessary local payments separate from booking.com expectations.

Is eigenlijk een studio, dus geen aparte leefruimte. En keuken beperkt.maar we wisten dat op voorhand, was geen probleem voor ons.

De tuin met hot tub en bbq. Er is ook een mooie sauna maar omdat het al 31 graden was overdag hebben we daar geen gebruik van gemaakt 😅

Gelukkig hadden we zulk mooi weer dat we vooral in de tuin hebben gebivakkeerd. Maar als t kouder of minder mooi weer zou zijn, dan miste ik binnen een bank om lekker op te hangen. Daarnaast leek de regendouchekop in de douche het niet te doen (of wij hadden niet door hoe die werkte 😌) En voor het gemak zou een buitendouche nog wel heel fijn zijn voor als je uit de sauna komt en na afkoeling in de hot tub wilt.
