Perfect location with lots of pubs, cafes and shops on the doorstep. Beautiful scenery.
The house itself is gorgeous, lots of attention to detail and the host has thought of everything, kitchen fully equipped. Lots of towels, toilet roll, toiletries etc. A real home from home. Nice and toasty warm also on a cold January weekend.

The location was delightful, with walking distance access to a range of good restaurants, pubs, and the countryside. The property is lovely and tastefully decorated, featuring good-quality appliances and fittings. The property owners are responsive and very helpful.
The key challenge was related to the breakdown of the cooker the week before we arrived, which required its replacement. This caused us to have to delay our arrival at the house by one day. However, the owners worked very hard to get a replacement bought and fitted before Christmas, which was a great achievement on their part and saved the holiday from being abandoned.
