Villa Montreux

Terrible experience with the host. They did not give us the code to the lock box until 2 hours after check in and would not answer the phone when we tried to contact him. The pool is not in operation despite the listing showing it and we contacted them well in advance to ask if it was and were told to ask on the day, when we got there they said its not open till June so was never going to be open during our stay in May, the pool was the reason we chose this place and the fact that is was never going to be open is unacceptable. When we finally got into the property the blinds in the 3rd bedroom were broken making the room unusable for sleep, the host said they were not aware of this and that they would send someone the next day to fix it but no one came and no further contact from the host. When we got home we checked the previous reviews who said the same thing so they were aware and did not fix the issue before we got there. Had we known it was not going to be fixed we would have made other arrangements! We were then offered a refund of 150CHF which still has not been paid and I don't expect it ever will as with everything else the host has been dishonest. A real shame!

We had to cancel this reservation. We showed up a few hours earlier than check in but we had not been given the code, there was no place to leave our bags and the host did not respond to us for over 45 mins. We were standing outside on the side of the road with our children and all our luggage. The location is far away from the town and train. We had to uber there and back (I would not recommend if you want to walk to everything ) We only had one full day to spend in the area and could not waste it waiting to drop our bags. We booked a lovely hotel right on the water and that was close to everything and a much better fit for us. We received zero refund or understanding from the host.

The villa was spacious and had everything we needed.

The location of the parking space is slightly awkward and can be a hassle for large SUVs/MPVs. But this is not a big deal for normal sized cars

We were at the promenade, it is very, very beautiful there! The accommodation was perfect for us. It was very clean and well-furnished. Dreamlike view, plenty of space, 2 parking spots, the kitchen is fully equipped. Comfortable beds, great furnishings, there’s a PS5 for the kids, TV connection, Netflix, etc. Check-in and check-out both went very smoothly. Parking is right in front of the house. Friendly and pleasant owner.

Very nice apartment, good location and beautiful view of lake. We enjoyed the staying very much. The owner is very nice,and to answer questions in quick time.

Please check coffee machine every time when the guests left. As the capsule has become mildewed inside.

It was everything man needed. The location is very good. Parking in front of the front door. Communication with the host was also great and uncomplicated. The POOL does its job and is also great, you don't need more and a depth of 1.40 cm is enough. Very clean and thoughtful stylish decor. The rooms are clean, big enough and the bathroom has a large storage space. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect, Recommended Everything met my expectations and I had a great time. Unfortunately ONLYYYYY one day.

Très belle villa et super bien équipée avec une vue exceptionnelle sur le lac léman et les Alpes. L emplacement est idéal, à 10 minutes en voiture du lac et centre ville.

La porte/fenêtre de la chambre des enfants ne s'ouvrait pas, la nuit il faisait un peu chaud.

in einem zimmer sollte die balkontür repariert werden, damit man diese zum lüften öffnen kann.

Alloggio stupendo, vista bellissima, in casa abbiamo trovato tutti i confort possibili, sicuramente da ritornare.

Super Aussicht, schönes Haus. Parkplatz vor der Tür. Kontaktperson gut erreichbar. Können es empfehlen! Playstation etc. nettes Plus :-)

Fenster waren fast alles voller Fingerabdrücke, so dass es die Aussicht etwas getrübt hat. Es war unglücklich und lag wohl am Reinigungspersonal. Der Besitzer hat es zur Kenntnis genommen.

Meget velfungerende og velindrettet sted. Værten sørgede for kaffekapsler, vand, chokolade og diverse til gæsterne, hvilket også gør at man føler sig godt modtaget. Dejlige møbler, dejligt sted i det hele taget. Stort tak til værten

Vi var 6 personer hvilket huset er beregnet til. Vi manglede dog spisestole til alle for der var kun 4 stole

הווילה יפיפיה, נקייה, מזמינה, מסודרת עם כל מה שצריך. ממש נהנינו לשהות שם, תמורה נהדרת למחיר. מומלץ בחום בעיקר בהשוואה לשאר האופציות באיזור.

המיקום סביר, צריך רכב כדי להגיע למרכז העיר. יחד עם זאת הווילה שוכנת על גבעה והנוף משם יפיפיה.
