Villa Montreux

Uns hat wirklich alles sehr gut gefallen. Besonders die wunderschöne Lage, die geschmackvolle Einrichtung und die gemütlichen Möbel haben uns begeistert. Die Unterkunft war sehr schön, sauber und einladend. Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohlgefühlt.

Es gab für uns nichts zu beanstanden. Alles war top und hat unseren Erwartungen entsprochen.

Het huis heeft een mooi balkon en mooi uitzicht over het meer van Genève. De ligging ten opzichte van het centrum is prima, al ligt Montreux natuurlijk wel tegen een helling...

Het huis was kleiner dan verwacht. We waren met 4 personen en dan is het op zich prima. Maar je kunt ook met 6-8 personen in het huis en dan is het wel klein. Er staan bijvoorbeeld maar 5 stoelen aan de eetkamertafel. De tweede badkamer is niet gefotografeerd en bij aankomst is duidelijk waarom. Het is een smal gangetje met een paarse badkuip in de grond, half onder de trap. Er waren wat zaken defect, zoals de droger, voor ons best wel cruciaal. Helaas heeft de eigenaar gedurende ons verblijf totaal niet gereageerd op Whatsapp, op mails en ook niet via Booking.com. Het (opblaas) zwembad was half leeg, er stond maar een kleine laag water in en hij was vuil. De tuin is groot, maar bestaat voor 90% uit stukken kunstgrasmat.

A nice family Villa with plenty of space and fabulous views of the lake. It was up a steep hill from the town centre with few shops/restaurants nearby.

The villa was advertised with a pool. This was a joke as the 'Pool' was a glorified kids plastic paddling pool that was dirty and almost empty with no instruction on filling and located in a small shed in adjacent property. Considering we had cycled all day along the Rhône it was disappointing not to be able to jump in the pool on a very hot day. This misrepresentation should be taken from the Booking.com com site.
