Caldera Heights Apartment

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa splendida casa a Santorini e tutto è stato davvero eccezionale! La casa è bellissima, moderna e con un design minimal, dotata di tutti gli utensili ed elettrodomestici essenziali e non: microonde, forno, lavatrice, lavastoviglie, macchinetta del caffè con cialde sempre ricaricate dalla proprietaria. Al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato acqua fresca in frigo e tutto l’occorrente per la colazione (marmellate, burro, fette biscottate), un’attenzione davvero molto gradita. La casa era pulitissima e in ogni camera da letto c’era un condizionatore. All’esterno una piscina molto piacevole con due lettini per prendere il sole, perfetta per rilassarsi. Comodi anche i due divani in salotto. La vista è qualcosa di unico e mozzafiato: si ammira tutta Santorini, da Fira a Oia, fino alle isole davanti. La posizione è strategica: in circa 25 minuti di auto si raggiunge qualsiasi parte dell’isola. Nelle vicinanze ci sono bar, supermercati e proprio sotto casa un ottimo ristorante di pesce. La proprietaria, Andriana, è stata meravigliosa: sempre disponibile e cortese, abita nell’appartamento sottostante quindi è rassicurante sapere di poter contare su di lei per qualsiasi necessità. Ci ha dato ottimi consigli su cosa visitare e dove mangiare. La casa dispone anche di Wi-Fi, posto auto e kit di pronto soccorso. Quando tornerò a Santorini, sceglierò sicuramente di nuovo questa casa: mi sono trovata benissimo e ho trascorso un soggiorno davvero piacevole. L’unica particolarità, che non riguarda la casa ma l’isola in generale, è la mancanza di acqua dolce. Dai rubinetti esce acqua leggermente salata e, per chi non è abituato, può risultare un po’ scomodo lavarsi. In realtà non ci ha creato grossi problemi: con il sapone ci si lava comunque senza difficoltà, quindi più che un difetto è semplicemente un aspetto da conoscere prima di partire. Ci tengo a ribadirlo: non è assolutamente un limite della casa, ma una caratteristica comune a tutta Santorini.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful seaside house! The location is beautiful and the house was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The atmosphere was relaxing and peaceful – perfect for a holiday. A special mention goes to the owner: she was incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive, always ready to assist us with anything we needed. Her warm hospitality made us feel truly welcome. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect beach getaway!

Superbe appartement très bien équipé avec une vue fantastique sur la mer. Il ne manque rien et le jacuzzi est un vrai bonheur. Très bon accueil d’Andriana qui donne de très bons conseils. Je recommande. Bien qu’au bout de l’île, l’appartement n’est pas loin des sites principaux tout en étant au calme. Il faut toutefois une voiture pour se déplacer sur l’île.

Tout était parfait

We liked everything about this apartment. Beautiful sea views, lovely sunrise and sunset views from the large windows, great dining area outside the kitchen, beautiful views from the jacuzzi. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. All kitchen utensils provided along with 3 bottles of water, bread, jam and honey. There is also a coffee machine with lots of coffee pods and sugar. Everything needed for a comfortable stay was there including iron, ironing board, hair dryer, washing machine, and laundry tablets. Lots of toiletries provided along with clean fresh towels and bedding. Excellent shower in the main bathroom. Very friendly and kind host. Adriana also let us check in early. Very thoughtfully and tastefully decorated. Loads of storage space in both bedrooms. There are ACs in both bedrooms, not noisy at all and very strong. Quiet area with 7-8 min walk to the lighthouse for an amazing sunset and a great seafood restaurant across the road. Highly highly recommend, I wish we had stayed for longer!

Minor things only. A handwash in the ensuite bathroom would be handy. Also some sort of screen to avoid water pooling on bathroom floor when showering would be handy.
