Au pied du frêne

Georgous little house! So well thought out with everything you could need for a short break. Lovely for our young family who loved the slide and the lovely grounds and pkay equipment.

We stayed on a very warm night and whilst there was a fan it was still very warm. Nothing that could be helped or changed by the host but something I would consider if I was staying again and the forecast was as hot again.

Struttura magnifica, alloggio curatissimo anche nei particolari, anche se piuttosto piccolo come dimensioni, ma rientra nello spirito del soggiorno. Bella area giochi per bambini, complimenti per l'idea.

L'esperienza del check in allucinante: proveniamo dall'aeroporto di Charleroi dove siamo atterrati alle 16:45. Alle 17:24 ci viene comunicato che possiamo entrare in autonomia perché i gestori non possono essere presenti, poco male ci adattiamo. Avverto alle 18:48 che il navigatore mi da l'arrivo alle 20:15, nessuna risposta. Alle 19:07 scrivo che se non è un problema ci fermiamo a cena visto che viaggiamo con due bambini piccoli, nessuna risposta. Strada chiusa e non segnalata che ci allunga i tempi, break veloce a cena in zona. Mi scrivono alle 22:33 che hanno chiuso le barriere e che è troppo tardi. Suono mentre il leggo il messaggio visto che stavo guidando, accoglienza pessima e maleducata, il gestore non parlava inglese, sembrava che non ci volesse far entrare...un tono e un modo che non uso neanche con i miei figli... ci viene indicato a gesti la casetta prenotata, buio pesto nel bosco, impieghiamo 15 minuti perchè non sapevamo orientarci, con valigie e bambini. Ho anche io una struttura ricettiva ma mai ho usato un tale atteggiamento con i clienti anche quando ero nel giusto. Bastava essere chiari e dire che se anche non c'era nessuno ad attenderci dovevamo entrare entro le 20...se me lo avessero scritto e sarei andato a cena dopo il check in, se posso entrare in autonomia lo faccio in autonomia! .... se non potete essere presenti e scrivete una comunicazione almeno l'educazione di controllare la messaggeria. Bella struttura davvero ma occorre avere anche lo stile per gestirla. La mattina successiva, tutto come se nulla fosse accaduto, colazione extra ottima, ma quando mi ha chiesto come era stato il soggiorno ho preferito non rispondere. Altro personale incontrato in mattinata gentilissimo, ma ho iniziato male la vacanza e mi spiace doverlo scrivere perchè la struttura merita veramente, ma non l'ho potuta vivere serenamente insieme alla famiglia e sono partito con l'amaro in bocca, quindi 185€ buttati via

This gorgeous place truly has it all! The location is amazing—perfectly situated near local shops, restaurants, and beautiful cities. The accommodation itself was absolutely outstanding and incredibly well-equipped for a young family like ours. Our kids were in their element with all the outdoor space and activities, and the chalet was impeccable. The slide from the top floor to the bottom was a massive hit! You can tell how much time and attention to detail went into the chalet and its surrounding grounds. Our host was incredibly friendly, kind, and accommodating, going out of their way to help us. Even the morning breakfast was fantastic. From arrival to departure, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our only regret is not staying an extra night to appreciate it even more!

There was nothing not to like. Outstanding.

Van ons bikepacking avontuur, met zeker 9 overnachtingen overal, was dit wel de minste overnachting. Wel heel klein allemaal!

De ruimte, voor de douche en wc een eindje lopen en naar verhouding een duur ontbijt!
