Heart of Tangier

I liked the location of the apartment. It is close to everything, making it very convenient to get around. The apartment is in an older building, but it has been renovated well and was clean and comfortable. The fridge and washing machine were both in good working order. Mohammad was kind, helpful, and always responded promptly to any questions I had.

The only downside was the lift. Bear in mind that I was staying on the fourth floor, and the lift was very unreliable—it was frequently out of service. Out of my 14-night stay, I would say it worked only four or five times.

Being in a 1930s block it’s a very spacious flat with high ceilings and old tiles on the floors. There is a view of the marina from the kitchen. It’s in a great location and is close to everything by foot. As there are no basics in the flat I could go for my morning coffee at the Gran cafe de Paris. It’s also by the bus stop for the CTM bus station - take the number 18. Picnic foods can be very easily bought in the central market. The flat manager uses WhatsApp to give instructions on how to get into the apartment and responded very quickly to any questions. The WiFi was excellent.

The lift was broken so I had to carry my luggage up to the fourth floor. It’s not the manager’s fault but still a problem.
