Chalet moderne au bord d'un lac

The location was beautiful and peaceful, with a lovely market town just five minutes drive away. The property felt modern and was spotlessly clean. The main house had good facilities and even a hot tub, barbecue and stand up paddleboards to make the most of the lakeside location. The facilities were modern and everything worked as it should. We were happy to travel to Paris and to Disneyland from here, but check distances on a map. The hosts were superb and nothing was too much trouble. They came to 'fix' the air-conditioning after I pressed the wrong button within 10 minutes of my call.

The third bedroom (with double bed) is in a separate outbuilding / hut / small chalet in the garden of the property. It is self-contained with locking door and its own bathroom, but we wouldn't want to leave children there as they wouldn't be able to get into the main chalet in the night unless the door was left unlocked as there was only one key. We would have liked to have been aware of this before our trip to help us plan, but it didn't detract from our visit as our children are adults.

Je vais essayer de faire court mais ... nous avons été enchantés! Tout d'abord un accueil chaleureux et un voisinage tout autant adorable que nos hôtes, hyper appréciable! Une maison vraiment très propre, extrêmement bien équipée, le tout situé dans un petit écrin de verdure et ce lac!! Un jardin et un accès au lac qui ont ravi adultes comme enfants. Les paddles et le jacuzzi sont des atouts non négligeables, nous avons vraiment beaucoup profité et le soir quel calme! Nous n'avons qu'une envie : revenir l'an prochain!

Prachtige locatie maar alleen ter aanvulling zou vermeld kunnen worden dat een van de kamers in een apart huisje, met eigen douche en toilet? staat vlak naast het hoofdgebouw - geen probleem maar ter verduidelijking
