The location was super helpful for us. We came to stay on the train and needed somewhere central enough. This was perfect- about 10-15 mins walk from the city centre in a lovely residential area with coffee shop and convenience store nearby, with North Beach walkable in the opposite direction as well. The bathroom and kitchen area were cosy and it was great to have a kitchen for the few times we ate at the house (the local eateries were too good for us to stick to self- catering!). The upstairs living area was spacious, with the air con working well to keep it cool (it was unusually hot the week of our stay so this was much appreciated). We enjoyed the comfy sofa for the times we needed to come back to the cool of the house during the afternoons.
The only things to note are that the stairs to upstairs are a little tricky to negotiate with luggage, but not an issue other than that. We could have done with a small side table near the sofa just to put a cup on whilst we were chilling out.

Comforter was stained. Ring around bathtub. Mr. Clean sponges work great for that.

It's a spacious apartment with a nice kitchen, split across two floors of an older house.
The upstairs is a joint bedroom/left that is quite pleasant. The price is right.
The stairway to the bedroom floor is quite treacherous, difficult to carry your suitcase up.
Location is not that great.
I thought the place had a somewhat unpleasant smell.
