Villa Albamonte

War sehr schön, sehr guter Service

The pictures of this property did not do it justice! When we arrived, we stood there for about ten minutes to take in the absolutely breathtaking beauty of this place. The property is sustainable, which really appealed to our family, and has meticulously appointed landscaping, with materials all sourced locally! Our fabulous hosts Loredana and Salvatore, showed us to our apartment in the villa (there are three - Sole, Mare and Monte, we stayed in Sole ☀️) it was beautiful! The kitchen was perfectly outfitted with all we would need to cook our meals for the week, and the grocery store was within walking distance so we stocked up and enjoyed our meals on one of the gorgeous patios the villa boasts, under a huge magnolia tree! The bedrooms were large, light and airy, with shutters that accommodated my husband’s need for absolute darkness to sleep. The linens were crisp cotton and the beds so comfortable, it felt so luxurious to pour ourselves into bed each night! The bathroom had a rain shower that was SO welcome after a day of sightseeing (Segesto, Palermo, Tripani & Castellamare del Golfo are just a short jaunt by car). Now the pool.. oh my goodness the POOL!! We had perfect weather the whole week, and we’re all nice and bronzed after spending our time lounging around the pool (which had massage jets and a jet to turn it into a resistance pool!!), and oversized umbrellas, and an outside shower built into a hundred year old stone wall! There was also an amazing sea rock garden and fish pond with a waterfall that made walking the grounds a magical experience. We cannot wait to get back here next year!

There’s nothing we did not like! It was paradise for us and our twenty year old daughter.
