Good location, 5 mins beach and 12-15 mins to town

No outdoor chairs to relax by the pool. Needed to have a couple of deck chairs for example. Welcome pack was a bit underwhelming- eg. No bottled water

We really enjoyed our stay at La Hacienda. It’s a lovely ‘complex’ that has a number of mini houses and a communal pool, that never really good very busy (we were there at the start of August so height of summer). The house was very clean and bright and had all the facilities we needed (fully equipped kitchen). The pool area is really well kept, there is a nice artificial grass area to relax and sunbathe in and plenty of space so you never feel like you’re intruding on anyone else. The best thing about this property is probably its location. It is only a 5 minute walk from Burriana beach (taking into account a pretty steep hill on the way back!) and is no more than a 15 minute walk into the main Nerja town. It’s also a stone’s throw from some really nice restaurants and the local supermarket is only about a 10 minute walk away, with a few other small shops closer to get bottles of water etc. We were there as a couple but it’s very well suited to families as well. Each house has a really nice patio area where we ate breakfast and lunch each day and 95% of them have a really good view out onto the pool.

Overall we really liked it but there were a few things we felt could be improved. For some reason and I’m not sure if this is an operational thing or a typo in the confirmation email - the address to get the keys to your house is not the same place as the actual complex. In fact, the location for key collection was a 20 minute walk away on the other side of the town (which when you have suitcases etc isn’t ideal). The people at reception at the complex weren’t extremely helpful. When we eventually arrived they seem puzzled by why we were sent there to get the keys but it was eventually sorted. The communication regarding facilities in the house wasn’t very helpful. I had noticed a few days before travelling that there weren’t any sun loungers in the photos so I messaged the property to be told that there may or may not be sun loungers at our house but they weren’t too expensive to buy if there weren’t any. About 3 days into our stay, we found sun loungers in a ‘shed’ in the house. We felt the hosts could have been a bit more helpful with directions for that. The door to the bathroom was slightly broken at the bottom (it looked like it had been kicked), so it wouldn’t close properly.

Nice and quiet ,we could take a chair on to the grass ,in the afternoon.Felt safe as it is gated .

The settee could be more comfortable .The gate at apartment ,the lock is stiff.

Great location

Woken up for three days running by builders next door at 7.30 drilling and banging as putting in a new kitchen next door (have video) ,the swimming pool,that was supposed to be open was closed and as for this apartment being refurbished (that was why we was moved to here on the promis it was better )not in the slightest all that was done was a new kitchen was fitted, the rest of the apartment looked shabby and run down
