The apartment was bigger than I expected and the interiors were of a high standard. It contained everything we needed for our short stay. The accommodation helpfully supplied us with some cleaning supplies too. I didnt use the small pool in the centre of the units but others were, or just sitting out on the shared green space, which would be a lovely way to spend the day if you didnt want to go to the beach, which is also very close. The main street is just a short walk away too, with lots of great restaurants. It was a very convenient and comfortable place to stay, I'd definitely recommend it.

We arrived on Nerja by bus from Malaga and then had to walk a long way to the MB hotel on the other side of town to pick up the keys and then walk all the way back over town to the accommodation. It was very tiring considering we'd just gotten a plane, train and then a bus. It didn't make much sense either as the accommodation is on the same road as another MB hostel, surely we could have picked up the keys from the there? Even better would be to have a key code pad or key box on site. If you're staying here, I'd recommend getting a taxi from Malaga airport and making a stop at the MB Hotel to pick up the keys and then getting dropped off at the Hacienda, it's what I wish I'd done.

The location was great. In a quiet residential area yet plenty of shops / restaurants and beach within 5 minutes walk. 10-15 minute walk to the Balcon Europa.

I am sad to report that the towels were not very fresh, had a stale smell.

Location couldn't have been better; the apartment itself, although smaller than the photos suggested had everything we needed and is just a short walk down to a very nice beach. We overlooked the pool which looked nice although we didn't use it, and the centre of the (beautiful) town was just a short walk away.

Hacienda 10B, very good. Menyber were not so good. We spotted quite quickly that the AC didn't seem very powerful. We'd arrived at midday so we left for the beach hoping the AC would do it's job but it hadn't, so we phoned Menyber. Keeping it short, apart from a quick visit from a worker that didn't seem to make it any better we had no AC for 5 nights, half the holiday. my partner eventually slept on the floor of the lounge because it was maybe 1 degree cooler. I need to use a CPAP machine but the 29ºC heat was too much to wear the mask as well so we both got very little sleep. It took a lot of complaining, threatening and weak electric fans before the AC was fixed. Hey presto, a better 2nd half of our holiday!
