3-Bedroom Apartment in Bayerisch Eisenstein

Our Maier's Pension and Maier's Chalet are located in the heart of Bayerisch Eisenstein and feature spacious, modern apartments and vacation rentals ranging from 20 to 75 square meters, as well as a small, well-equipped gym, a billiards room, and lounge and game rooms (foosball, table tennis, air hockey, basketball, and many games). Our cozy lounges inside the building are always open until 11:00 p.m. From the property, it’s just a few minutes’ walk to all areas of Bayerisch Eisenstein and to the train station. Restaurants, a pizzeria, a drugstore, a post office, a church, sports shops, and our “Kramerladen” for shopping are all nearby. From here, you can access the “Schwellhäusl” hiking trails directly, and the Arber is about a 5-minute drive up the mountain or a short ride on the free ski bus that stops right in front of the house. We have a beautiful garden with a large terrace. In the summer, there are various lounge seating areas and lounge chairs in the garden, along with grills and a spot for a campfire in the evenings. There’s also plenty for the kids to enjoy with a new, large swing set and climbing structure—the garden is securely fenced so you can watch the little ones in peace
Our passion is to create and offer a modern yet cozy atmosphere for our guests. And we hope that families with children will also find an appealing experience at our two properties, Maier’s Chalet and Maier’s Pension, and that everyone feels right at home.
You can walk directly from our properties into the Bavarian Wald Nature Park, where many hiking trails begin. In 5 minutes, you’ll reach the valley station of the ARBER ski area and Ski Kinderland; you can get to the cross-country ski trails just as quickly and start your hike. The ski bus departs right in front of the building. There are also many attractions in the immediate vicinity that are especially interesting for children (toboggan runs, outdoor pools, playgrounds, indoor play centers, etc.). You can reach the Czech Republic after just a few hundred meters—there you’ll find a variety of shopping options right nearby, such as duty-free shops, a wide range of vendor stalls (clothing, shoes, bags, shirts, jackets, cigarettes, spirits, etc. ) as well as a large casino. Nearby, you’ll find a soccer field, tennis courts, and our “golf course” (mini-golf) in the summer. A full-size golf course is about a 15-minute drive away—the Lindberg 18-hole course—or you can treat yourself to a great massage on the Czech side in Železná Ruda for 20 EUR, etc. On the website, you can find the weather report (webcams) and all current local events.
