Ideally located, very quiet, fully equipped, tastefully decorated, in the heart of the countryside, the Domaine de Mazet is a 17th-century Cévennes estate, set amid a park planted with centuries-old cedars and surrounded by 70 hectares of chestnut and holm oak woods. Two charming vacation rentals have been converted from a silkworm farm and a clède. Views of the Cévennes and the terraces of the “Jardins de Mazet,” where medicinal plants are cultivated: a true herb garden spanning 10 hectares, designated a “remarkable garden” by the French Ministry of Culture. Large swimming pool fed by water from Mazet.

This apartment is on a gorgeous quiet property with stunning views and perhaps the best pool of my life. The apartment is beautiful - very tastefully decorated and has all the essentials. The shower is a little awkward to get in and out, and the bathroom struggles with the damp, but these are minor issues given the abundant beauty.
