This is a beautiful property with lots of amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed everything it had to offer. Being right on the Ausable river was a treat. Especially since the use of the Sauna, cold tub, 6 Kayaks and 2 Paddleboards as well as life jackets for everyone were included! With our big family enjoying the place there was something for everyone to enjoy! There were a few hiccups, like the dishwasher and ice maker in the fridge not working. But that was no big deal. Everyone had their own space and Shawna answered texts quickly and kindly... Thanks very much!

Our intergenerational group had a great time enjoying the lovely indoor & outdoor spaces. I had worried that using kayaks might involve a slog through shrubbery and mosquitoes, but it was all good. There's a nice walkway to the kayak launch point, and some of us enjoyed kayaking out to lovely Port Franks beach and meeting up with others in our group for a beach day. We enjoyed making smores on the fire table each night, and the hot tub was lovely. A few things, just to let folks know who are trying to discern how their group will best fit with the space: stairways up and down are a bit steep with no handrail - no problem for most in our party. There is no bathroom downstairs, so our basement dwellers used the main floor bathroom, and used the shower upstairs when needed. Cold-lovers will like the well-AC'd basement more than the upstairs, which in July was a bit warm for a few of us, but there are ceiling fans. We appreciated the washer and dryer, and spacious, well-stocked kitchen (garbage bags, paper towels, basic spices, great dishes, pans.). The bunkie has electricity & wifi extender, and unless super hot, would be a great space for overflow or those who prefer their own space (and don't mind walking 20m to the house for bathroom). There's a table for 8 plus great seating outside. Kitchen is perfect for cooking and serving buffet style. Thermostat gave CO2 warning, but likely just over-sensitive (we reported this). Overall, a wonderful stay!

We especially enjoyed the beautiful view out of the backyard, hot tub, sauna, cold plunge, fire pit and hammocks!
