About this cottage rental

Cosy Nook lives up to its name. So Quirky and cosy. A wealth of traditional features with beams and an inglenook. Two bedrooms sleeping 3 people with a shower room also on the first floor. The lounge is cosy with tv and a dining area and the kitchen is fitted with everything you could possible need. To the rear there is a raised garden with seating area. Parking is to the front of the property. Situated in the village of North Molton it is an ideal base to explore the area. There are views with stunning scenery across Exmoor with pretty villages, the wild moor and spectacular coastal scenery. There is an abundance of wild life which includes Exmoor ponies and red deer. Excellent walking with miles of walking routes on the moor or along the many rivers. One famous walk is from the next village of Withypool to Tarr Steps, a 1000 year old clapper bridge. North Devon has a wealth of stunning scenery with its many open gardens, splendid beaches and countryside. The coastal drive between Porlock and Lynton boasts the highest cliffs in England. Another famous place is the Lorna Doone Valley with its steep Coombes and deep valleys. The wild moor with the Exmoor Ponies, red deer and Eagles are not to be missed. There is a great pub within a 5 minute walk of the cottage which serves award winning food and is dog friendly. The village community shop is handy for daily needs. South Molton a ten minute drive has many boutique shops and Tea rooms with a splendid market on Thursdays and Saturdays. Barnstable is a 30 minute drive with high street shops and supermarkets. The beaches of Ilfracombe and Bude are within an hours drive. Most Tea Rooms and pubs are dog friendly which is why one small dog is welcome. Booking is a minimum of two nights but I would suggest a few more nights are needed to really appreciate the wonder of what there is to offer
