Stay at this large 3 level mother-in-law apartment situated on Prior Lake with breathtaking lake views from your covered deck. Private entry. Prior Lake is a nice recreation and fishing Lake, 1164 acres in size. Our 100 foot beach has a sandy bottom with very few weeds. Our bay is a great location for swimming from the dock which is visible from most locations within the apartment We are located on a dead end street, which is quiet and relatively safe for kids.
Evenings can be spent relaxing outdoors in hot tub, Enjoying a lak view on dock or gathering around a cozy fire.
Other property features include the use of 2 kayaks for your lake enjoyment.
This beautiful property is located only 25 Miles southwest of Minneapolis and only a 25 minute drive from the airport. Its location is ideal as if offers tranquility and relaxation but still within a manageable drive to any desired attraction in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area.
The Downtown area of Prior Lake emanates small town atmosphere and is located 2 miles east offering quaint shopping and many local conveniences. Enjoy fresh pastries and sandwiches at “Edelweiss Bakery” or enjoy fine Italian dining at “Perron’s Sul Lago” two local favorites.
There are several bars and restaurants in Prior Lake for those looking for live music, karaoke or general night life. Enjoy drinks and great food at tavern “Captains Jacks” anytime during the day or evening. Captain Jacks is a social hot spot located directly on the lake accessible by car or boat. For those who feel lucky, “Mystic Lake Casino”, is located 2 miles west. Many other attractions within 5 miles include “Canterbury Downs” offering live horse racing, “Raceway Park” with weekend stock car and figure 8 racing, and an amusement park called “Valley Fair” featuring many thrill rides and a water park. We loved this place. There were 10 of us, and we didn't even get close to actually utilizing all of the available space. Everything was beautiful and comfortable and facilitated so many wonderful family moments, whether we curled up in front of one of the fireplaces, watched football, or were having appetizers around the kitchen island. On top of really enjoying the house, we enjoyed venturing onto the frozen lake to make snowmen etc. There were various grocery stores nearby, so it was a quick trip to get everything we needed to put that gorgeous kitchen to work! We whole-heartedly recommend it.

This house was exactly as advertised, and we had a great time. It's hard to believe the place could live up to the awesome pictures, but it did! The amenities were awesome, and the house got a definite thumbs up from our entire group. Everything was clean and the owners were great to deal with. I would highly recommend this place for a family vacation. Great golf nearby (which was our group's focus), and I'm sure there are great restaurants; but with a big kitchen and sweet grill we did all of our eating at the house. Grilling out and overlooking the lake was too good to pass up. Thanks for renting out your wonderful house and if we come back to Minneapolis, we will stay here for sure!
