Apartment Nikala

Everything was perfect, thanks a lot! We liked the design of the apartment, cleanliness, silence.

Super cozy and well curated alartment

The location is excellent: right near the railway station and the park, on a quiet street with the view of the park trees and a small church. The host was very polite and accomodating, communicating online and responding quickly. The apartment is a cosy space with a lot of character, with vintage well kept pieces of furniture and a renovated amenities. We especially appreciated the renovated singer tables for sewing machines, one of them was re-purposed as a small table near two reading chairs and the other one served anls a counter for the bathroom sink. The heater is gas karma which might crackle sometimes at night, but keeps the place toasty warm. The three beds were with new and comfortable orthopedic mattresses, the linens were very clean and there is an abundance of extra towels, pillows, linens and warm blankets to suit your needs. The flat is simple in design, but with an obvious taste: there are lovely caricature drawings on the walls, white clean walls, a good set of curtains which did great to block the street lantern nearly. There is a big solid wood table to host a gathering of friends or board game nights. The soundproofing is good, we did not hear any of the neighbours, and when we were closing windows, the street noise was blocked well. The windows are new, there is a spacious balcony. There was also a big floor fan for more ventilation in warmer season. The flat has a new washing mashine, fridge, toaster, a kettle and a small two burner gas stove with ventilation hood. There is an abundance of clean well kept tableware and utensils in the drawers. The drawers have safety locks, so if you travel with kids, they are baby proofed. The shower room is simple, but clean with new toilet, showerhead, electric water heater and a few power outlets for your hairdryer and electic razors. The hot water pressure is not the strongest one, but it does the job well, the showerhead and the sink taps are very stylish.

Only minor things! I am writing them just to make the review more useful for the visitors. As the flat windows are facing the park, there might be a couple of rogue spiders in the window corners. Luckily, we had a mop to deal with them, ha ha. The gas heater noises at night might disturb light sleepers, but this is a very well known common issue for such heaters in Georgia, we had no issue with that. As I already mentioned, the flat is accessed via wooden stairs, so be mindful with heavy luggage, child carriers and etc. You might require a bit of assistance with them. The door lock gets stuck sometimes and needs a bit of skill and patience to open and lock. A bathroom mat near the shower was missing, so I would recommend to add one to avoid stepping from the shower to cold floor tiles. Overall, those are common minor things, that hopefully will not discourage you from booking this lovely apartment! Have fun in borjomi!

The accommodation was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The hosts were friendly, welcoming, and always available by phone if needed. The room was beautiful, and the location was convenient—close to both the parks and the city center.
