the Perla rental is amazingly located in one of THE most picturesque neighborhoods in Jerusalem - Ein Karem. The view from the room's patio is breath-taking, and it is just one view of an unending instances of beautiful views available to anyone roaming the allies, footpaths and back-streets of this beautiful village. But the room itself is also beautifully and tastefully designed - spacious and tall ceilings. There is a comfortable 'living room' attached to a very well equipped kitchenette complete with coffee machine, refrigerator, stove-top, etc etc. the Air-conditioning (goes without saying - in a place like Israel this is a must) was a saviour for our stay in July. The sunrise, sunset and late evening walks along the village made this weekend just magical. There were at least three open restaurants on the Sabbath evening that are walking distance from the room. The back-story as presented by the host is that this was a location that his parents, as fleeing refugees, were housed in. While they lived there in isolation and in relative poverty the host's mother remained a caring and warm host to any guest, and it is the wish of the host to pay respect to the memory of his mother in the form of renovating part of his dwelling into a holiday rental.

I have no real criticism of the room itself. It's worth remembering that Israel is really hot in July. Ein Karm is beautiful all year round but in the late winter and Spring it is especially amazing.

החצר קטנה וקלאסטרופובית, העיצוב זול ולא דומה בכלל לתמונה באתר. חבל שאין קשר בין הדברים.
