Merry House Chiang Mai

The house is big and comfortable, the design is pleasant. It was equipped with all the necessary facilities (besides closets or drawers), and even the fridge was not empty :-). There are mini markets near-by and a market not far away (less than 10 minutes walk). After the initial connection through Booking (which was somewhat slow), the host was very helpful and responsive.

The location is not great, although we did take this into account when choosing it (we chose comfort over distance) - nevertheless, besides the distance from the old city or shopping centers, there is also the airplanes' noise that you need to take into account due to the proximity to the airport. The WiFi worked, but the quality was not great all the time. The connection with the host is virtual only - there is no key, only code (I would prefer the first contact to be physical and afterwards it can be virtual - but this is my preference only).
