Shada Hotel Dubai - فندق شدا دبي

I really enjoyed my stay at Shada Hotel Dubai. The hotel is beautiful, the service was great, and I especially loved the room design — it felt stylish, cozy, and unique. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience.

The only downside was the noise insulation, as we could hear people in the hallways and from neighboring rooms. It was a bit disturbing, especially at night, and made it difficult to sleep at times.

I like the hotel very much, the room comfy, the terrace very nice and I like the location.

Where do I start! The attention to details, beautifully designed hotel that welcomes you with a beautiful scent and extremely friendly and amazing staff. They are so sharp and each employee is really there to support you. The cafe is perfect, amazing speciality coffee with great selection of chocolate. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Beautiful spacious terrace.

There is literally nothing negative about Shada

What I like is that my husband agrees with me not to come here anymore. A great interior does not help when the staff quality is low. It is such a loss since we enjoyed our visit in December and has put Shada in our top list other than other locations in Dubai.

We arrived on Sunday, 15 Feb, at 5.30 pm, thinking the room would be ready by then. Because during our first stay, they took some time to prepare them, even though we arrived within the check-in time. The front desk is not very friendly and is always busy with something, even though there is no crowd. He made a call through his desk phone, and no one answered. He had to use his mobile to contact someone to prepare the room. We had to ask twice more about the status, and finally, after an hour, we received our rooms. Some of the carpets are still soaking wet from cleaning the floor. Later that night, we arranged an in-home massage service through an official company we usually call, and we had no problem even having them come to a higher-level hotel, such as a Hilton. The same receptionist held them at the reception and did not communicate clearly to our room; he seemed to suspect that there was inappropriate activity. The masseuses were wearing official formal-modest uniforms showing the company brand, bringing the massage beds and a load of towels. My husband has to come down and assert that these respected ladies come to massage my mother and me. This situation affected the time that they can spend on the session, as per the regulation, their work stops at 12 am. The TV in 107 was not working, no data connection, although the wifi is on. We were too tired to get that fixed, so we called in the morning to have someone check. The guy said it is a hardware problem and will get a technician. I told him, sure, get him after we check out today. He said, "But ma'am, it will be a problem for the next guest". That is not our problem; that is your problem. It is astonishing how a 2-month difference can make such a difference while still in a peak season. They also removed the welcome drink, Qahwa, and dates.
