The location was magic! Beautiful view from every side and so close to nature! Yes a bit a long drive to get up there but Madeira is all Uphill and downhill and small roads and that s the beauty of it!
It was very simple and lacking some comforts that could be easily fixed e.g. somewhere to hang the towels in the bathroom or kitchen, somewhere to hang the coats when you come in and a bit more light in the kitchen when you cook. But again these are small things! The apartment is cute and good!

The apartment ist well located to explore the western part of the island. Tourist attractions like the Fanal forest and the 25 Fontes are just a 20-30 min drive away. I would recommend a rental car because it's not that easy to go somewhere with public transport. The view over the sea is nice. The apartment is clean and renovated.
The location is pretty far from the centre of Ponta do Sol so you definitely need a car to get around. There are some things missing like curtains (streetlights) and bare lightbulbs.
