Aqueen Prestige Hotel Lavender

The hotel was walking distance to two different train stations so it was very easy to get around. It was on a quiet road so noise at night, but still had some nice breakfast places (one lovely one right opposite) and a 7 Eleven.

We didn’t book breakfast so didn’t need a restaurant, which was fine, but there was nowhere to even sit and have a coffee or even a drink in the hotel. There was a bar but it was unstocked and unmanned. The pool was out of service the first two days we were there, which was a huge disappointment as we paid extra for a hotel with a pool. The receptionist organised for me to walk about 200m down the road to their sister hotel so I could use their pool, which was very nice of her, but then to walk back on a public road before having a shower was not great. Luckily the pool was fixed by day 3.

Great pool, helpful and friendly staff, good-sized room

I received a warm welcome from the staff and I found them to be very professional all through my trip. I received an upgrade on my room and was pleasantly surprised at the large sized room I had, having read so much about tiny rooms in Singapore hotels. On my departure day I was able to leave my luggage in the hotel safely. I actually was able to have a shower at the rooftop swimming pool after my day's adventure before departing for the airport. A wonderful facility. Thanks to the lovely staff for facilitating that.

I was disappointed with the breakfast, so I chose other venues most mornings.

Reception changed our room as I don’t use elevator and fewer stairs made it easier for me which I really appreciated.

Very noisy outside late at night and early morning but I was warned but excepted it as room was easier to access.
