Robin Goch Retreat

What a lovely retreat . So picturesque. the cabin set in its own grounds with a small lake or pond. very well kept grounds . My only criticize is no electric at all. Plenty of solar lights at night but no 240v at all. and of course no broadband apart from over the way on there campsite. The owners did charge my phone etc at night and were very nice. Don't get me wrong It is beautiful site very peaceful and cerein. Clean and some what quaint . Ideal for couples etc. There's a village with restaurants shops etc 8 mile away,

The place is beautiful, cozy, and has a great atmosphere, but you have to remember that there is absolutely no signal there. You also can’t charge your phone or plug in a fridge. That actually suited us because we only came for two days. If you’re not comfortable with that option, you can use the toilet at the campsite that option was more comfortable for me. The nearest beach is about a 30-minute drive away, and the nearest shop is also around 30 minutes by car. It was a bit inconvenient because it was very hot, and buying drinks in advance didn’t make much sense since they quickly became warm, so that’s a small downside but acceptable. We cooled our drinks in the stream flowing near the cabin. P.S. We left two cold beers in the stream - someone will be lucky if they find them! Good luck 🤞 One more important thing the area around the cabin is poorly lit, so bring good flashlights with you. The solar-powered lights work, but not very well 7/10 👌

The only downside for me was the dirty showers and toilets, which weren’t cleaned during the two days we stayed there. On the last day before we left, there was even no toilet paper

Das war mal etwas ganz anderes. Mitten im tiefsten Nichts, in völliger Ruhe, nur der Bach plätschert nebenan. Kein Telefonnetz, kein Internet, dafür eine Freiluftküche und ein Abend am Lagerfeuer. Perfekt zum Abschalten und für eine Weile Digital Detox. Die Betreiber sind sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit.
