Fantastic location, short walk to the river where the kids could swim every day.
House was full of character, and very cosy. Large enough for the kids to play one side and adults to relax on the other.
The kids loved playing chess on the board too!
No internet was also very relaxing.
The owners were extremely friendly and were very patient with my patchy French!
The only thing was there were lots of decorative items that looked quite previous that had me worrying the kids would tinker with them. Fortunately the kids were well behaved!
Stairs are typical of rural yesteryear designs, so may prove steep for some.
