Stunning location! The photos don't do it justice! The house is very cosy and I really recommend visiting in Autumn - the scenery with the colours is breathtaking. The beds were very comfortable, great to have en suites for both bedrooms - both bedrooms had the view too which was a huge bonus to wake to. Kitchen was very well equipped, lovely little welcome pack too. The host left a lot of guides on where you could visit in the area which we made use of as well. Parking on site is great, right by the property. Didn't want to leave! I'd also consider booking the properties either side and going as part of a larger group, it's really well located and set out. The lounge was well set out and seating was very comfortable, great to have a separate dining area. House was very clean indeed and the bedding and towels had a very fresh scent. We arrived late morning and spent most of the day wandering around the lake (so much to see!), visited the local spa hotel (4 min drive from this property) for food and drinks.

It was pretty chilly so it would've been great to put the heating on when suited (we think heating was on a timer) - that's me really searching for something to add here though! Really was great.

Everything.....this place is Heaven on Earth. Words are not enough.

Everything! The location is amazing, the place is spotlessly clean, and it has everything you could possibly need. The owner, who is an absolutely lovely lady, has thought of every little detail, from kitchen appliances to dog poo bags. We couldn’t have asked for more!

Nothing.

Location is beautiful

There is no restaurant near the location and you might have to travel more than 30 minutes to reach any good restaurant
