The host was so thoughtful that he made it feel like we were visiting friends and gave this part of our trip such a personal feel.

We had a fantastic time at Hugo’s place! He’s an incredibly thoughtful host who picked us up at the airport, provided us with the best of Madeiran products and offered helpful tips on how to make the most of our stay in Madeira. The house is very comfortable and designed with care.

We absolutely loved our stay here and would choose this apartment again without hesitation! The apartment is beautifully designed, with a modern and stylish interior that immediately makes you feel at home. The layout is fantastic—each bedroom has its own bathroom and is separated enough to give everyone plenty of privacy, making it perfect for families or friends travelling together. One of our favourite spots was the small inner courtyard terrace. It was the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee or relax after a day of hiking. We especially appreciated that it stays shaded, so you can enjoy the fresh air comfortably even during the hottest part of the day. The location couldn't have been better. The meeting point for hiking tours and day trips is just a 3-minute walk away, while the harbour and the main shopping streets are only 5–10 minutes on foot. There's also a lovely local bakery just around the corner where we enjoyed fresh pastries and coffee. The highlight of our stay was definitely our host, Hugo. He is, without a doubt, the best host we've ever had! Before and during our stay, he shared so many great local tips—from the best places to visit and hike to restaurants and shops that we would never have discovered on our own. He was always friendly, responsive, and genuinely cared about making sure we had an amazing time in Madeira. We felt truly welcomed from the moment we arrived. Thank you, Hugo, for making our stay so special. This apartment was one of the highlights of our trip, and we can't wait to come back!
