Delightful little place, just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre. Very kind and generous host. Everything super clean and thoughtful. Nothing wrong here!

Was a great location close to the city with secure parking

We spent the first two days mopping floors because the showers didn’t drain correctly and when we reported this we were just offered a mop, it’s not a mop we needed it was a plumber, anyhow my partner spent over an hour cleaning the drains to resolve this. Tried speaking to the owner about this several times before leaving this review and she didn't seem really interested we had made it clear that we were on vacation and didn't feel it was fair and, to be honest, I feel we should have been offered a partial refund, I must add she was kind enough the following morning when visiting her parents to make us a traditional Romanian breakfast and this was very much appreciated but I personally felt it was a little too late, we also noticed in the accommodation there were no guest book or house rules, I think some basic information would be useful IE wifi code, door code, etc places to visit, local bakery shops, etc (basic stuff) It also stated on booking.com that the property comes with air-con this isn't strictly true it is just how a basic plug-in machine that blows the air around the bedroom so this was disappointing. Parking was also an issue because where you parked the car there was a huge old pear tree with a lot of old fruit falling onto the ground and cars, we hired a new car so it was a huge concern with the risk of rotten fruit falling on it. I also felt guilty for our friend that had bedroom number one, no air-con and the next-door neighbors had their television on very loud every day until around 5am I also asked if she employed a cleaner and was advised not at the moment, I feel this would be helpful for her because she does seem a busy lady but it would also be important for guests. Sadly I wouldn't want to stay at this property again because of the issues we had however I think if she made a little more effort a few simple changes would take this property from a three-star to a five star
