Appartement Haussmanannien Cosy - République

De mooie klassieke en toch frisse uitstraling. Verder de goede centrale ligging. De metro om de hoek en veel bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand.

Wat kleine punten in het appartement die voor verbetering vatbaar waren, maar die heb ik opgenomen met de eigenaar en die zou het gaan aanpakken.

De ruimte, de locatie, het comfort, erg schoon.

Door het bouwtype, houten vloeren en plafonds, erg gehorig. Elke stap van de bovenburen kon je horen, maar de bovenburen probeerden met succes zo zachtjes mogelijk te doen. Zaterdagavond hadden de benedenburen een feestje, dat was erg goed te horen in het appartement. Doordat de rokers het Franse balkon openden galmden de muziek en de stemmen door de binnenplaats. Nou heb ik daar geen last van, maar mijn partner is daar veel gevoeliger voor.

• Location is amazing @ Republique Stn with great access to multiple lines and other major stations. • apartment is beautiful w spacious living room and lots of natural light, large dining table good for work and food and huge sofa that could sleep another person if needed. • Considering the location it's pretty sheltered from outside noise. • Shower water temperature, pressure is great. • TV with streaming was fun to have.

BAD HOST: very bad communication. Bare minimum email correspondence in the weeks leading up to our stay (seemed we got autoreplies only etc) with some emails going unanswered. • Wrong number on one section of the listing. • Responsive on only WhatsApp (which cannot be monitored by Booking.com). • Request for early check in unacknowledged for a month. Then the day before arrival they asked for our arrival time which we had provided. We asked for earlier check in, and they replied 16h. Why ask? (Not a big deal normally, but as one person in the group was pregnant we were hoping for earlier check in, due to early morning arrival in Paris.) • Arrived at the apartment just before agreed upon 1600h and let them know we were here. They replied and asked for 16:15 instead. In the end we waited in the cold for an hour, and were not let in until just before 17h, ie 1h after agreed upon check in time. Host did not acknowledge own lateness and instead acted like he had been waiting for us and was now running late himself (!) • Host asked questions that revealed they had not reviewed the ids they requested from us. • I suspect the host was very disorganized and still cleaning the apartment at the last minute and so ignored our check in time and messages because they were running late. KITCHEN: • Dishwasher in bad condition and badly installed so it's difficult to open. While it may be useable by someone who knows it well, we opted not to, out of concern that unknown pre-existing issues would be blamed on us. • Kitchen cart was actually a (repurposed?) nappy changer...yuk • Dirty, used sponge left in kitchen; no clean sponges provided. • Oven tray was left dirty, covered in food residue. • No instructions for stove. • Fridge was a bit smelly and dirty. BEDROOM: • Moths were found in linen drawers underneath the bed, and later found on our clothes that were hung in the bedroom. • Rug was very dirty.

Location is very good! Apartment is near the station and restaurants. it was very convenient. Summer in Paris is very hot, so it was very comfortable to have a fan!

Depending on the time of day, the shower was mostly water. And towels were old. I think you should change to a new one.
