Sehr ruhig und ländlich gelegen- man sollte ein Auto haben. Traditionelles koreanisches Han Ok, sehr nette Gastgeberin, hervorragendes Frühstück- allerdings korean Style, also Rindersuppe, Reis , Kimchi etc. Ein eigenes Haus für sich. Man schläft hervorragend.

Bad etwas schlicht und niedrig, große Menschen müssen den Kopf einziehen. Ausstattung im traditionellen Stil, funktionell auf dem Land, also kein high-class-design.

Typical Korean experience. Hosts are wonderful. Breakfast tasty and unique.

It is far from downtown. Need a car or taxi drives to visit most sites of Gyeongju.

The place feels very authentic, a real hanok home in the middle of a small town. You can see the love and work the artist host put in all aspects of the house, from tie dye beddings to ceramics in the garden to the hand drawn guidebook for the neighborhood. Breakfast was homemade and superb. The main attraction is the Namsan Mountain hike. The hike is not an easy one, requires climbing rocks time to time. There are lots of routes to discover that can easily take a full day. But just a walk up to Chilburam is a short yet satisfying plan. We got invited into the temple there, and had tea and conversation with the young monk. Lovely place to spend some time outside the touristic Gyeongju and discover more local highlights and nature walks.

Not a discouragement at all, but if you are squemish with bugs just keep in mind you might see a centipede or a spider as it is a wooden house, probably a hot season issue only.
