Alojamento Santo António II

The apartment is very spacious and comfortably furnished, with balconies all around. It is extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. We also received a very warm welcome from the friendly and hospitable host, which was a lovely touch. Having a garage available was another big advantage.

The main downside is the construction site next door. Heavy machinery was being used from early morning until the evening, creating a very high level of noise. Even with the windows closed, the noise was still clearly audible. For us, the apartment worked well as a base for exploring the area, so we didn’t spend much time there during the day. However, if you wanted to take a nap or simply relax during the daytime, you would probably need earplugs. Overall, a very spacious, comfortable and well-equipped apartment, with a wonderful host and convenient garage, but the ongoing construction nearby is definitely something to be aware of.

The location was convenient to the beach and we were grateful for the large parking space.

Unfortunately, the beds were too firm and would benefit from the addition of a foam topper. We had some challenges with access because we had intermittent wi-fi. Communicating more instructions in advance, including a photo of the building exterior, would be helpful.
