Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, mit dem Deckenventilator auch bei weit uber 30 Grad gut zu bewohnen - und vom Balkon aus hat man einen schönen Blick auf den Montserrat. Überhaupt, die Lage: Monistrol eignet sich hervorragend für Ausflüge mit dem Auto (unter 60 Minuten Entfernung) und Wanderungen, die direkt im Ort starten. Die schönsten Empfehlungen haben wir von unserer Gastgeberin bekommen. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, die Unterhaltungen beim Frühstück herzlich. Das Spezialgebiet des Restaurants, in dem das Frühstück angeboten wird, sind Fleisch und Wurst aus dem Holzkohleofen, es ist also recht deftig. Wir haben aber auch jeden Tag ein sehr leckeres vegetarisches Frühstück bekommen.

Eigentlich nichts. Die Küche ist sehr knapp ausgestattet, wir hätten aber sicher alles weitere bekommen, wenn wir danach gefragt hätten.

It was great place and location to visit Monserrat. Very close to train station and good connection to the train to Monserrat. Clean and very pleasant place to stay. The owners were very nice. We were also served breakfast. Very good communication with the owner and very helpful with recommendations. I would highly recommend this place who would like to stay over night to explore Monserrat all day no rush to catch the train back to Barcelona

Very steep staircase. It was not problem for us but it might be for family with children or elderly people.

I feel bad saying this as when I look back on the photos it it pretty accurately represented. It was just so downtrodden when encountered in real life. There was no cover on the duvet and I don't think the bedding had been changed...so I slept in my clothes and used a t.shirt as a pillowcase. The kitchen is not very well equipped.. Utensils weren't clean... Furniture is random. The whole thing, to be honest, is a bit cobbled together and makeshift with not a lot of effort put in. If it had been 50 Euros I wouldn't have batted an eyelid.. But for around 100 euros per night...it is outrageously overpriced. Breakfast was ok.. Grilled sausage and a piece of toast...but nothing to write home about. I would neither return nor recommend.
