Dab Hotel Ulus

I stayed in this hotel with my groupmates, we enjoyed our time there. The staffs were very helpful and kind. When my other groupmate forgot her jewellery when she checked out, the staffs contacted us and informed that my groupmate forgot it, we really do appreciate their help💕. When it comes to a room, it was splendid The atmosphere was really amazing. Thank you for your hard work ✨️💕😍

We have stayed at the Dab Ulus Otel on two separate occasions and have been very pleased with both visits. Check in was easy and the staff very friendly and attentive. On our earlier visit (February 2026) the manager upgraded our room at check-in. The room (403) was rather large, containing a queen bed (which was extremely comfortable), a very nice sitting area and large bathroom. There was plenty of closet space for coats and clothes. During our second visit (April 2026) we booked a deluxe double room and instead of having an alcove sitting area our room (603) had a large balcony. 😊 The room itself was on the smaller side but, for us, the balcony more than made up for it. Late spring (mid April) to beginning of fall (end of September) seems to be the best time to have and use the balcony. We actually used the balcony each night as the weather had been awesome! Of course, the other times of the year would be on the rather colder side and I would not feel the trade off would be beneficial. Unlike most hotel rooms in Türkiye, the rooms we stayed in were all up to date (i.e., maybe recently renovated with clean walls and floors). A very nice kahvaltı was also included. The hotel has a small attached cafe/restaurant and food/grocery shopping (BIM, Şok, and various tekkeler) within one short block. The location was about a 5 minute walk to the market center and about a 15/20 minute walk to the M1 M2 M3 Ulus Metro Station. In addition, there were several museums located between the market center and Ulus Metro Station. Also, a 20 minute walk to Ankara Castle, that was well worth the visit. Dab Ulus Otel is highly recommended!

stayed for 4N and only 1 time was the room housekeeped after we have to ask for it. The 2nd day, they told us they only housekeep every 2 days. After 2 days, no housekeeping, and we have to ask. Provide drinking water only on day 1 regardless of how long you stay. So if you booked for 1N, you get water, but several nights, water bottle provided for 1st night only. Can't understand the logic here. There are a lot of men drinking and smoking on the streets outside the hotel. Throw away the flimpsy slippers and did not provide new ones. Again, have to ask.
