La Finestra su Santa Lucia

Everything was excellently organized. We were allowed to arrive early, we were welcomed by the hosts, and they explained everything to us. The kitchen had all the essentials waiting for us upon arrival, including fresh focaccia, wine, bottled water, coffee, and more. The accommodation has both a balcony and a wonderful rooftop terrace. We were given plenty of recommendations for restaurants, day trips, and other places to visit. The space is perfectly air-conditioned. The old town is just a few minutes’ walk away, while the beach is approximately 10–15 minutes on foot. Communication with the hosts was flawless.

Parking is available on the street in designated white-lined spaces and is free of charge. With a little searching and patience, we managed to find a parking spot on the street even during the peak season. I’m mentioning the parking situation purely for information, and it does not affect our rating, as the accommodation does not offer private parking.

Absolutely fantastic apartment with everything you need for holiday. Strong air con, clean and comfortable bedding. Self-contained kitchen. Close to shops and old town. Free street parking, but get there before 5pm otherwise it could be all taken. More impressive thing is, relaxing on rooftop terrace watching sunset. The owner is very friendly and helpful with everything. Love to stay longer as a base.

One minor thing is, you have to climb one flight of steep staircase to get to the apartment. Manageable for those who travel light. Could be difficult with larger suitcase.

Great apartment, very tastefully decorated and furnished, with all required mod cons, and just a short walk to the old town and to the nearby beaches. Hosts were very helpful before and during stay. Nice bottle of chilled Rosé and delicious focacio were welcome gifts. This was our first visit to Monopoli, which we enjoyed very much. Grazie!
